The Confidence Loop: How Feeling Sexy Leads to Looking Sexy (part 2)

After the last week’s blog about Confidence, I received questions about how you fake confidence before ‘till you finally have it.

Faking confidence is like putting on a killer pair of heels - you might wobble at first, but strut long enough, and boom, you own it. Here’s how to pull it off without breaking a sweat (or your spirit):

1. Stand Like You Mean It

Posture is everything. Shoulders back, chin up, feet planted like you’re ready to conquer the world. Even if you feel like a mess inside, standing tall tricks your brain (and everyone else) into thinking you’ve got it together. Bonus: it makes you look instantly more powerful -and who doesn’t want that?

2. Wear Something That Makes You Feel Like That Girl

You know that outfit that makes you double-take in the mirror? Wear that. Confidence isn’t about trends - it’s about how you feel in your clothes. Rock that red lipstick, those boots, or that dress you’ve been “saving.” Life’s too short for “maybe later.”

3. Speak Up (Even if Your Voice Shakes)

Want to look confident? Use your voice. Speak slower, with purpose. No one needs to hear your sentences end in a question mark unless you’re actually asking something. Own your words—even if you’re faking it, people will buy it.

4. Make Eye Contact

Nothing says “I’ve got this” like holding someone’s gaze. You don’t have to stare them down like you’re in a Western showdown—but a solid few seconds of eye contact? Power move.

5. Move Like You’re Already Winning

Walk into a room like you’re headlining your own show. Swing those hips, smile like you know a secret, and pretend everyone’s lucky you showed up. Spoiler: they are.

6. Channel Your Inner Badass

When in doubt, think of someone who oozes confidence - whether it’s Beyoncé, Rihanna, or that one friend who doesn’t give a damn what anyone thinks. Now, pretend you’re her. (You’ll be shocked how well this works.)

7. Take Action Anyway

Confidence doesn’t come from overthinking. It comes from doing. So go for that opportunity, post that selfie, book that photoshoot. Scared? Do it scared. That’s how you build the real thing.

💥 Bottom line: Faking confidence isn’t about being someone you’re not - it’s about tapping into that fierce part of you that’s been there all along. You’ve got this, goddess. Now go out there and act like it. 💅
